SOUS CHEF REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of progressive Sous Chef experience
• Upscale or fine dining experience preferred
• Strong program management prowess (quality, timeliness, deliverables)
• Must have the ability to manage people
• Must be able to inspire others to achieve excellence
• Solution-oriented mentality and self-motivated when challenges arise
• Must possess genuine hospitality towards guests
• Must be a confident decision-maker and professional, with the utmost integrity
• Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the F&B/Hospitality profession

SOUS CHEF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily operations of production, preparation, and presentation of all food
• Assist Executive Chef in the creation, costing, implementation, and execution of all menus
• Manage a large team of associates in the prep and production areas of the kitchen.
• Must be able to attract, develop, and retain a high-level team
• Provide and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain a high-level standard of sanitation within all kitchen-related area
