This position is in support of the Sentinel Program aka Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) contract.It will be based in one of the following locations:San Diego, CAHuntsville, ALRoy, UT9/80 work schedule. A hybrid work location arrangement may be considered for this positionThe purpose of the GBSD Program is to replace the current ICBM system, including the weapon systems command and control; flight, launch and ground systems; and cyber elements.This position will perform the following functions:Source and procure specialized goods and servicesOwn contractual management for assigned suppliersResponsible for source selection from solicitation to closeout phase of resulting subcontractsCoordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as Contracts, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Development, Small Business liaison Officer, Planning, and the Program OfficeWork closely with Subcontract Management to increase subcontracts related skills and acumenCreate solicitation packages based on Program requirements, as stated in formally released statements of work, specifications, and Quality documentsBuild compliant subcontract justification packageParticipate in Peer, Subcontract Management and Compliance reviews for soundness of judgement and overall adequacy and accuracy of work productFrequent internal and external (supplier) interactionProvide mentoring and guidance for lower level SCAsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience in subcontract management or purchasing. Or in lieu of a degree 19 years of relevant experience in subcontract management or purchasing.Experience with FFP, Time and Material and/or Cost type contractsMust be able to obtain and maintain a security clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with SAPActive Secret ClearanceExperience in supporting all aspects of subcontract management from subcontract award through contract closeout processSalary Range: $117,800.00 - $204,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
