Optician - Full-time / Part-time

Scheduling: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri | 8am - 5pm || Wed: 10am - 7pm (Rotating) 

Saturdays: 8am - 4pm (Rotating)

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients in choosing eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contacts.

- Measure and fit eyewear for comfort and clarity.

- Educate patients on eyewear care.

- Maintain eyewear inventory.

- Collaborate with optometrists and staff.

- Handle administrative tasks.

- Maintain records of customer prescriptions, work orders, and payments.

- Heat, shape, or bend plastic or metal frames to adjust eyeglasses to fit clients, using pliers and hands.

 

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Attention to detail.

- Knowledge of lens types and coatings preferred.

- Previous Optician experience preferred.
