Job Summary:

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, implementing and maintaining processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing hiring and onboarding processes, reviewing customer issues, tracking order pick counts, monitoring team attendance, preparing performance reports, managing inventory, delegating tasks, and effectively communicating issues and risks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure efficient operations.

- Monitor workflow and productivity levels to meet operational targets.

- Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures.

- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.

- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.

- Participate in the hiring process by interviewing and selecting qualified candidates.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new warehouse staff, including training and orientation.

- Address and resolve customer issues related to warehouse operations in a timely manner.

- Monitor and track daily order pick counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

- Maintain records of employee attendance and address any attendance-related issues.

- Prepare and distribute performance reports to management and team members.

- Oversee inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.

- Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain optimal stock levels.

- Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff based on workload and skillset.

- Effectively communicate any operational issues or risks to management and provide recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in relevant software and systems (e.g., inventory management software, MS Office Suite).

Working Conditions:

The Warehouse Supervisor role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position may require occasional overtime and weekend work to meet operational demands. Additionally, the role may involve lifting and carrying heavy objects and working in various temperature conditions.
