Electrical Manufacturing Engineer

Job description

An Electrical Manufacturing Engineer will work with the production team, manufacturing engineering team, and design engineering team to ensure proper manufacturing success. Responsible for technical support, continuous improvement, and project-based manufacturing integrations and developments.

Duties:

• Troubleshoot problems with existing test and assembly machines / fixtures and implement or recommend changes.
• Troubleshoot products being produced and recommend changes.
• Collaborate with MME (Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering) and design,assemble test fixtures to implement improvements.
• Mark-up and correction of production work instructions when needed to ensure quality and efficient production throughput.

Skills/Experience:

• Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic products and assembly processes.
• Ability to read schematics and do troubleshooting of test fixtures, assembly machines, and electronic products. SMT, through-hole, and assemblies.
• Ability to troubleshoot down to component level on PCBs.

Qualifications/Education:

• Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology with 10+ years’ experience OR
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electromechanical/Electronics with limited experience.
