Overview
The Director of Marketing is primarily responsible for leading and driving top line revenue strategy for creative, brand, social media, digital marketing media, programming, The individual is additional responsible for staying ahead of market trends, market share movement and ongoing competitive hotel analysis, while directing marketing, creative and brand teams to ensure budgeted revenues are met or exceeded. The Director of Marketing is also responsible for developing and implementing a marketing plan designed to achieve the desired narrative and image of our food and beverage outlets, as well managing the marketing budget that supports revenue attainment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for leading and driving top line revenue for all areas of marketing and programming.
  • Having daily communication with the Vice President of Marketing when in need, guidance, and all / any questions.
  • Assesses and reacts to market trends, market share and the competitive hotel, food and beverage environment. This includes nightlife + day life.
  • Develops and implements a marketing brand, digital and social media plan designed to achieve the desired positioning of the food and beverage outlets, as well manages all marketing team counterparts action items within the approved plan.
  • Develops all and any marketing roll out plans for major announcements and working hand in hand with local Press Team.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and executing well thought-out Programming and Activations on a monthly basis per venue and where applicable.
  • Ensures all marketing team members are performing their day-to-day tasks and responsibilities set forth.
  • Participating in all weekly team meetings and being the leading voice of the New York & Boston Marketing Department.
  • Ensuring all Digital Media Platforms are up to date at all times with the marketing team. i.e. Photography, Video, Events, Press, Special Events, Overall Copy.
  • Reviewing All & Any Media Agreements.
  • Maintaining current and new vendor relationships + pricing negotiation.
  • Identifies and implements cost-cutting methods where applicable.
  • Managing all dedicated budgets for f/b outlets via Boston & New York.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree preferred in Marketing or Communications.
  • 5-7 years experience in past previous marketing roles. (hospitality and entertainment industry preferred).
  • Experience dealing with / communicating with ownership groups and executive leadership.
  • Managing six figures to seven figures annual marketing budgets.
  • Excellent in social media, digital marketing and management of creative design.
  • Ability to direct, lead, train, motivate and drive a direct marketing, brand and creative team, and develop a cooperative, competitive team spirit and winning attitude.
  • Excellent in Digital Paid Media space, Analyzation, Planning, Budgeting & Executing.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point.
    • Plus in Canva, Adobe and other Platforms.
  • Must be proficient in Food & Beverage Platforms
    • Seven Rooms, Open Table, Resy
  • Must be proficient in Social Media Platforms
    • Meta, X, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn
  • Knowing how to pivot at times when in need.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects at once and understanding priority.
  • Extremely organized and excellent communication + presentation skills.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of all market segments, and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each.
