Direct Support Professional - Weekends

Stepping Out is a division of Options Residential that serves adults with a primary diagnosis of Prader-Willi Syndrome. We are looking for Direct Support Professionals for our Hastings, MN location!

We are looking for part-time weekend staff. We can accommodate every weekend or every-other-weekend schedules. Weekend staff will be working with our clients in their physical fitness programs and will be regularly going on 30-60 minute runs and walks with them.

PART TIME / WEEKEND HOURS
Wage: $17.00 / hr

Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Willingness to do personal cares (dressing, bathing/showering, toileting) with clients
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid US driver’s license and willingness to drive residents to appointments
• Basic computer skills

Biweekly

Direct Support Professional duties vary from program to program, but may include:
Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities
Use the company vehicle or own vehicle to take individuals to community activities or appointments (Mileage is paid for use of own vehicle)
Cooking, assistance with feeding
DSP will administer medication
