Medical Front Desk Receptionist

As the Medical Front Desk Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to support the daily activities of our medical office including electronic medical record use, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, pre-certification and verification of insurance as well as the following:

Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and enter appointment data into electronic medical record
• Greet and direct patients, salespeople and visitors
• Register patients and verify patient's information in electronic medical record
• Answer and rout phone calls and respond to inquiries, direct caller to appropriate personnel
• Conduct reminder calls to patients
• Collect payments
• Verification of insurance

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years relative work experience
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Excellent communication skills and customer-friendly outlook
• eClinicalWorks experience required
• Obstetrics/Gynecology experience required
• Insurance verification experience required
