Warwick Seattle is looking for dependable individuals to join our team as Assistant Front Desk Manager. This position is heavily responsible for overseeing our Front Desk Supervisors and Agents, as well as act as a primary first contact for management to resolve any guest concerns. This position will work at the front desk at most times, so will also be responsible for the same duties as a Front Desk Supervisor and Front Desk Agent. Some key duties are:

  • Check guests in and out.
  • Answer telephone calls and multi-task between guests in front of you and guests calling.
  • Be a primary point of contact for guest inquiries and complaint resolution.
  • Taking individual and group room reservations and perform accurate input of reservation information into the Property Management System
  • Ensure you remain informed of pertinent information for the hotel and the market, such as restaurants and attractions
  • Training of Front Desk Supervisors and Agents
  • Resolve guest issues as the first point of contact for management
  • Ensure proper communication and procedures, as directed by the Front Office Manager, are being followed
  • Cover shifts during times of need or emergencies, and be flexible in work availability
  • Other support as needed from time to time

The Assistant Front Desk Manager is expected to have, at minimum, the following abilities and knowledge:

  • Two years of hotel front desk supervision experience in a similar quality hotel
  • Open availability
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Represent the hotel well and resolve guest issues.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. English is a requirement.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computational ability.
  • Must possess basic computer skills.

This is a full-time position and open availability is required. We are looking for someone who wants to commit to the position and hotel with a desire to eventually move up within our organization.
