POSITION PURPOSE:

To greet guests enthusiastically and accurately seat them in a helpful, friendly, courteous and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction and according to established standards. To supervise all FOH staff, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Efficiently seat guests in a timely manner, and accommodate any and all special requests and needs. Document ALL special requests or events being celebrated on Open Table reservation program.
• Respond to guest complaints in a positive manner, negotiate a compromise and implement solution.
• Maintain clean and organized work station. Call back guests to check on quality of food and service.
• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating (inside or outside) then escort them to their table and present menu. Ask guest for name and room number and records on card which is placed on table for guest name use by server.
• Maintain proper set-up of dining room and maintain the cleanliness of the menus.
• Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
• Assist Food Servers to take to go orders, help deliver food, cleaning tables when needed.
• Must assist other outlets if needed.
