We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technology Manager to lead our technology operations. As a Technology Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our computer and communication systems, data security, and efficient technology infrastructure. Technology Manager Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years as a Technology Manager or relevant role
  • Technical expertise:
    • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
    • Experience in data management and governance
    • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and installation
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field

Technology Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage information technology and computer systems:
    • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our company’s computing needs
    • Ensure seamless operations within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines
  • Lead and mentor IT staff:
    • Recruit, train, and coach employees
    • Communicate job expectations and appraise performance
  • Design and implement systems:
    • Collaborate with other departments (such as Operations, HR, and Finance) to ensure data security
    • Develop and coordinate policies and procedures
  • Ensure data security and backup systems:
    • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality
    • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
  • Manage budget and cost effectiveness:
    • Manage the annual IT budget
    • Optimize costs while maintaining quality and reliability
