Job Description
The 32BJ Training Fund is looking for a Black Seal Low Pressure Preparation Instructor to work on a part-time basis.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaching concepts related to boiler operations
- Teaching Boiler parts and functions.
- Reviews terminology for State exam.
- Provides practice exams to prepare students for the NJ Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler Operator exam.
- Guides students and provides feedback on how to fill out paperwork for DOL exam.
- Keeping record of attendance and completing tasks in our learning management system.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Availability for in-person or remote classes.
- Weekend availability as needed.
Language Skills:
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
Qualifications and Core Competencies:
- Teaching experience
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
- One of these: Black Seal/Blue Seal License/Third class Engineer License
