Our company specializes in manufacturing re-usable plastic packaging and is a leader in the thermoforming industry. We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Coordinator with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to join our team! The HR Coordinator reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and leads all recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, and employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities:
- Assists all visitors and applicants in the front reception area in a welcoming and professional manner.
- Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process; identifying candidates, performing pre-screenings, scheduling and conducting interviews, partnering with hiring managers, extending job offers, and managing all onboarding activities.
- Plans and conducts bi-weekly orientations for groups of new employees.
- Assists Human Resources Manager with local job fairs.
- Maintains employee personnel files, including regular filing of active and terminated employee paperwork.
- Provides clerical support and assistance for all functions of the Human Resources Department.
- Leads all employee engagement activities including weekly luncheons, monthly birthday and anniversary gifts, and assists with planning company events.
- In partnership with the HR Manager, works to continuously improve HR processes in recruitment, onboarding, and learning and development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Associate degree in human resources, business administration, or relevant field (Required).
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or relevant field (Preferred).
- Recruiting and interviewing skills.
- Effective HR administration and people relations skills.
- Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project planning skills with the ability to work on several priorities simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with familiarity in MS Office, Google Suite, and related business and communication tools.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred)

- Starting Salary: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 (based on experience)
