Position Summary:
AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Stuart, Florida that is a leading global aerospace manufacturer that specializes in the design and production of aircraft, aerospace equipment, and systems. With a rich heritage dating back to 1863, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the aerospace industry. We are looking for experienced Numerical Control Operator who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!
The Numerical Control Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading raw materials and setting up any equipment or accessories needed during production. They also calibrate all necessary items according to manufacturer guidelines to run smoothly.
Essential Functions:
- Operate a variety of NC machines that perform drilling, countersinking, milling, and riveting.
- Assure efficient and maximum output.
- Ensure safe control of the systems operations for airframe fabrication and assembly.
- Monitor and analyze data to initiate appropriate actions where needed.
- Adjust, index, synchronize, and perform pre-established maintenance on all aspects of the system.
- Able to run up to 50% of machines on-site.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or accredited GED preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job.
- Ability to run 50%+ of above listed machines.
- Previous mechanical experience preferred but not required.
- Training will be provided for any entry level position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Excellent planning and time management skills.
- Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand.
