Align Communities, an entrepreneurial and fast-growing multifamily resident services business based in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Maintenance Supervisor. With a commitment to excellence, we manage a diverse portfolio of properties, providing top-notch service to our residents.

Position Overview:

The Regional Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance operations for a designated region of multi-family properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, a keen eye for detail, and excellent leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians across multiple properties within the region.
  • Provide training and support to maintenance staff, to foster a collaborative work environment.

Maintenance Operations:

  • Oversee all aspects of property maintenance, including routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance projects, addressing issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.

Budget Management:

  • Collaborate with the regional management team to develop and manage the maintenance budget for the assigned properties.
  • Monitor and control expenses, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.

Vendor Management:

  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors.
  • Obtain competitive bids for maintenance projects and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all properties within the region comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to maintenance operations.

Resident Satisfaction:

  • Address resident maintenance requests promptly and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the leasing and management teams to resolve resident concerns related to maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control expenses.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant local and state regulations related to property maintenance.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to travel within the designated region as needed.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).

The Compensation & Schedule

This position offers an annual salary ranging from $75,000-$85,000. Compensation is based on experience and education.

  • Monday to Sunday
  • On call
