Leasing Specialist Job Description

A Leasing Specialist with Devon Management will be responsible for interviewing and processing potential files in accordance with LIHTC program. The candidate we are seeking must be a "take-charge" and "make things happen" type of specialist with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Tax Credit program
• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening process and Tax Credit policies
• Organize, maintain and coordinate the data collection and process of applicant information
• Process verifications
• Update vacancy status daily and coordinate efficient interviews to allow for minimal vacancy loss
• Assist with maintaining the waitlist
• Ensure compliance with set-asides outlined in the regulatory agreement
• Respond timely to calls, emails and site visits
• Efficient and timely customer service attitude; be professional, pleasant and responsive to all prospects
• Attend company meetings and trainings when requested.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in the Tax Credit industry
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to identify and resolve issues
• Superior attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Must be proficient with computer skills and all Microsoft programs
• Yardi experience is a plus
• Exceptional organization skills
• Highly attentive to detail
• Ability to perform tasks in a time sensitive work environment
