Position Title: CNC Machinist
Wage: $22-$32/hour DOE
Shift: 2nd or 3rd
Hours: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
QPS Employment Group is working with a busy company in Independence to fill several DIRECT HIRE opportunities! Allow QPS to help you get your foot in the door to be a full-time employee on day one and start receiving the excellent benefits package this company offers!
CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate CNC and fabrication equipment efficiently
- Conduct visual inspections for defects and handle material disposition
- Pull samples for quality checks, ensuring conformity
- Package finished materials according to customer specifications
- Prioritize safety adherence and report any concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the team to optimize workflow
- Stay updated on CNC technologies through ongoing training
- Contribute to process improvements and a positive work environment
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC operation or a related field
- Proficient in the use of CNC machinery and various fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual inspection and quality control
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of safety guidelines and commitment to adherence
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High level of precision and accuracy in work
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance
