Meat Butcher & Prep Cook | Elway's

Elway's Fine Dining restaurant is looking for a meat cutter/butcher to join their prep team! You're primary responsibilities will be within meat cutting and preparation.

SHIFT:

AM & Weekend availability are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years of meat cutting/butchering experience
• Must be able to pass a 10-year criminal background check
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, courteous, and exceptional service
• Display knowledge of the restaurant’s food and beverage menus
• Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer needs
• Take tableware to dish area and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. Assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bin and maintaining a clean dishwashing station
• Take finished meals from the kitchen to the customers table.
• Clean and clear tables after each Guest Experience. Between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths, check floor and clean as required
• Continually communicate and assist FOH, Bar, and HOH in stocking, cleaning, and any other requested assistance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and some hazardous equipment.
