Job Description

Broad Function and Purpose of Position: 

Maintain, grow and manage assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, meet sales and profit objectives, as well as promote sales of new fibers and Slab Solution Products. Grow business through sales to new customers and projects.  Maintain a highly visible position within the industry though association activities. Support Cross & Project selling activity.
Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop sound Strategic long term (3-year) and short term (1-year) plans for assigned sales territory together with Sales management and implement. Achieve assigned sales goals in near and long term.
  • Develop relationships to promote concrete fibers and Sika with engineers, contractors, design / build firms and ready mix concrete customers. 
  • Work with admixture salesmen to educate and promote fibers within Sika.  Wok as a team with the admixture salesmen to identify and sell fiber to the ready mix industry.
  • Work with marketing and other functional support groups in the development and implementation of marketing, sales, promotional, and other programs for assigned accounts.
  • Develop long-and short-term strategies to build sales and Sika Slab Solutions at assigned accounts; develop annual plans, goals and objectives for all assigned accounts.
     
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Ten years’ experience within the concrete industry.
  • ACI Level 1 certified, NRMCA Concrete Technologies (Level II) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Concrete Fiber Industry
  • Knowledge of ready mix, precast and dry cast production.
  • Network with in the industry and past participation in local and/or national industry associations.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent analytical, planning and time management skills, and quantitative skills.
  • Travel as required.
