Human Resource Business Partner

Major Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Drafts Job Listings / Advertisements, posts positions and maintain/update application system.
  • Facilitates background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Prepare offer letters and onboard new hires within company standards/formats.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters, investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Strong focus on many pipeline strategies, including referral programs, community partnerships, job fairs, school partnerships, diversity groups, unemployment offices, local government programs, and grass-roots campaigns (radio, social media, signage, etc.)
  • Conducts prescreens, refers candidates to hiring managers, and follows up on applicant status.
  • Be a contributing team member and assist with HR projects as assigned.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or two years of Human Resource / Full Cycle Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, volume and metric-driven environment, including managing (15+) job requisitions simultaneously.
  • Experience partnering and supporting hiring managers through the full cycle hiring process for all role levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and superb time management skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
