Position Overview: As a Leasing Consultant, you will work closely with the on-site Community Manager to manage the property effectively. You'll be the friendly face and welcoming voice that residents and applicants encounter when they visit our Leasing Office. Your role involves meeting with prospective residents, residents, vendors, and guests while ensuring adherence to Section 42 Guidelines, The Fair Housing Act, and RichSmith Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist all visitors to the Leasing Office, creating a positive first impression.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
  • Contribute ideas and suggestions for marketing and leasing plans.
  • Implement marketing and leasing plans effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 42 Guidelines, The Fair Housing Act, and RichSmith Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with:

  • At least 1 year of leasing experience (experience with tax credits is a plus!).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer service focus with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic office tasks, including typing, filing, scanning, faxing, and answering telephones.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
