Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We have an immediate opening for the following position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Atascadero, California. This is a contract position that requires at least one year of experience.

Location: Atascadero, CA

Hours: 7.5 Hours Per Day

Responsibilities:

• Provide Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) services to students with special needs in an elementary school setting.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on individual student needs.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to determine the function of challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure that behavior goals and objectives are appropriately addressed in students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide training and support to school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators, on behavior management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with state and federal regulations.
• Work itinerantly across multiple elementary school sites within the district.
• Covering a leave, with the expectation that the regular district BCBA will return.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a BCBA in a school setting preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in behavior analysis and intervention.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
