If you are looking for the most intense and rewarding challenge of your career then read on…DIRTT is seeking a CNC Operator to work in our Savannah Factory. The successful candidate must be able to work a 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shift rotation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling
  • Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results
  • Package product safely and appropriately
  • Learn and apply lean tools and methodologies
  • Practice excellent general housekeeping, including but not limited to, work area, floor areas, benches and storage areas to ensure a safe work environment
  • Inspection of finished units for adherence to documented quality standards
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Experience on vertical/horizontal milling machines / HAAS / CNC lathes preferred
  • Experience with programming is an asset
  • You will have working knowledge of G-Codes and CNC Milling operations
  • Must understand drawing interpretation, dimension checking and measurements
  • Understand proper material handling techniques
  • Be computer literate – 3D software and excel are highly utilized programs here
  • Be highly detail-oriented; conducting frequent & consistent quality checks is a must
  • Have a strong track-record for being accountable and timely
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Love working with others
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment,
  • Live the importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & adhere to safety, requirements and inform the Supervisor of any unsafe situations.
