Full Time Outpatient Pharmacy Technician - Newark, Delaware (13+ weeks)

RPH on the Go, a leading staffing agency dedicated to the placement of pharmacy professionals, is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Outpatient Pharmacy Technician for a reputable healthcare facility in Newark, Delaware. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic outpatient setting, contributing to the health and wellness of the community we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications to patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, including handling queries regarding prescriptions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of medication and pharmacy supplies.
• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in the maintenance of pharmacy records, including patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, and registries of poisons, narcotics, or controlled drugs.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Assist in the implementation of pharmacy initiatives and health promotion activities.

Shift:

• Monday- Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• DE Pharmacy Technician license
• PTCB
