Intrado is looking to hire a FP&A Managerto join our Corporate Finance team in Longmont, CO.
As the FP&A Manager, you will report directly to our VP of FP&A. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and analysis functions within the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to develop financial plans, monitor performance against targets, and identify opportunities for improvement. You will be expected to quickly distill complex information into concise, actionable insights. Senior leaders in the company will look to you to support decision making, provide insightful analysis, and assist with capital allocation and long-range planning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning:
- Lead the development of annual operating budgets and long-term financial forecasts
- Work closely with department heads to gather relevant information for budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze historical financial data and market trends to inform future financial plans
- Identify risks and opportunities to ensure realistic and achievable financial goals
Financial Analysis:
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budget/forecast
- Develop financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost-saving initiatives
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management
Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance
- Track and analyze financial and operational performance against targets
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on performance trends and areas needing attention
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop action plans to address performance gaps
Forecasting & Reporting
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Provide insights into future financial performance based on current trends and business initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and regulations
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align financial plans with business objectives
- Partner with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects by providing financial analysis and recommendations
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA or CPA preferred
Experience:
- 5+ years proven experience in financial planning and analysis roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Strong familiarity withGAAP (particularly ASC 606) and the associated revenue recognition implications preferred
- Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems
- Familiarity withmanufacturing accounting (standard costs, price/material variances, etc.) preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule at our corporate headquarters in Longmont, CO.

The hiring range for this position is anticipated between $120,000 and $150,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
