KeyStaff is hiring for a Document Control Specialist in Austin, TX!

Pay: 17-20/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Duties and Responsibilities: 

•    Assures that all QMS paper copies are marked with a red “Controlled Document” stamp.

•    Assures that all old QMS documents are destroyed or marks old documents “Obsolete” and files in segregated location.

•    Creates folders in 2K/Active Jobs folders if needed, Setup Archive folders and oversee archival of Active Jobs Folders as required.

•    Downloads Customer documentation and Datasheets from FTP sites. 

•    Creates Production folders that include Customer BOM/Assembly Drawings, Engineering Change Orders and Deviations.  

•    Completes Order Readiness Checklist and gets appropriate signatures in a timely manner.

•    Forwards information to Purchasing, Production Manager, Stockroom and Project Manager.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

•    Three or more years’ experience in Documentation Control or equivalent experience in the contract manufacturing industry

•    High school diploma or equivalent

•    Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, GC Preview, Smart Draw, Agile and PCMRP, AutoCAD

•    Ability to utilize computerized programs for requirement analysis. 

•    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret customer’s documentation.

•    Ability to design, utilize and monitor spreadsheets.

•    Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. 

•    Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing.
