Production Supervisor

Ready to take your leadership experience as a Production Supervisor someplace new? Consider this full-time Production Supervisor opportunity with a leading manufacturing supply chain company located in the NW Indianapolis area.
This growing manufacturing supply chain is adding a Production Supervisor to their team. This company takes pride in providing solutions in assembly, sub-assembly, warehousing, and supply chain management for their customers.  
The Production Supervisor will work closely with their Operations Manager and production team members to ensure operational excellence in their warehouse. 

This direct hire opportunity offers a full-time schedule including four 10 hours shift Monday through Thursday with occasional overtime along with generous benefits, potential for career growth and development. 

Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
  1. Coach and supervise staff to achieve maximum productivity, quality and safety standards
  2. Ensure 5S systems are followed, maintained, and implemented 
  3. Maximize labor hours and minimize waste using 5S systems
  4. Encourage and welcome ideas from team to make work more efficient and cost effective
  5. Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel
Work Schedule: 5 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday (occasional weekends as necessary)

Production Supervisor Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or GED with 1-2+ years of leadership experience
  2. Ability to understand and read engineering drawings/specifications
  3. Experience or knowledge with 5S/lean manufacturing concepts
  4. Proficient working in MRP/ERP systems
  5. Experience working in manufacturing preferably in a tier 1 or tier 2 supplier
Pay Range: $60K - $65K plus benefits
