We are seeking a talented and dedicated Production Sign Technician to join our dynamic team. Position Overview - As a Production Sign Technician, you will play a crucial role in our sign production process. You will be responsible for working on various aspects of sign production, including design preparation, materials selection, fabrication, assembly, and quality control. This is a hands-on position that benefits from both technical expertise and artistic sensibility.
Pay: To Be Determined (depending on relevant experience and skills)
Schedule: Full-time
Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct-Hire

Primary Duties:
oCollaborate with the design team to review specifications and prepare files for production.
oSelect appropriate materials and tools for sign fabrication based on project requirements.
oOperate and maintain sign-making equipment, including digital printers, plotters, laminators, and vinyl cutters.
oFabricate and assemble signs using various techniques.
oConduct quality control inspections to ensure the accuracy, durability, and visual appeal of finished signs.
oAssist with installation and on-site repairs as needed.
oMaintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
oStay updated on industry trends, materials, and production techniques to enhance overall efficiency and quality.
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
oStrong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
oAbility to work independently and as part of a team, adhering to project deadlines.
oExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
oStrong organizational and time management skills.
oPhysical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
oFlexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends, depending on project demands.
oFamiliarity with sign-making equipment, including digital printers, plotters, laminators, and vinyl cutters.
oProven experience in sign production, preferably in a professional sign company.
oProficiency in sign-making techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and painting.
oKnowledge of various sign materials and their applications.
