Project Manager - Construction/Environmental

Professional and quality driven environmental remediation contractor that provides environmental field services throughout the Mid Atlantic region and beyond is seeking a seasoned leader to manage complex and technical environmental clean up projects. Candidates must have a minimum five (5) years experience with environmental remediation, project management or construction related jobs.

Duties include oversight of all day-to-day project work activities.

Responsibilities to include supervising a team of equipment operators, field technicians, site vendors and subcontractors. Must be able to interact with clients, engineers, regulators, etc.

Ability to develop and manage schedules, track costs, read blueprints, complete and submit project submittals is essential. Must have working knowledge of project related tasks.

Assignments include environmental clean up involving hazardous and non hazardous wastes. Projects entail site remediation & restoration, demolition, confined space environments, site construction activities including earth moving, backfilling, pipe installation, grading, capping and industrial related services. A "hands on" approach is required.

Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations is helpful but not required.

Emphasis on Health & Safety.

This position requires overnight travel, good computer skills and strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management, environmental remediation or construction related industries.

OVERNIGHT TRAVEL IS REQUIRED!

Good computer skills along with strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of construction related activities ie. excavation, backfilling, grading, pipe installation
