Cabinet Maker/Woodworker ($20.00-$30.00/hr)

Key Responsibilities:

• Custom cabinet shop seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Woodworker to join the team.
• You will be responsible for building, modifying, and repairing wooden cabinets and products.
• Read and interpret drawings and designs to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces according to specifications.
• Sand and finish cabinet surfaces to meet quality standards.
• Attach hardware to cabinets with precision, ensuring functionality and aesthetics. 
• Must be able to assemble millwork/cabinet components, prepare sub-assemblies, and assemble finished product to package and prepare for complete product shipment.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience as a Cabinet Maker/Woodworker.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools.
• Experience in custom millwork, residential and commercial cabinetry (Face Frame and Frameless). 
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Experience in hardware installation and adjustment.

Education:

• HS Diploma, GED or Trade School

Equipment Used:

• Operate woodworking machinery and tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Use of assembly machinery; case and frame clamp, table saw, chop saw, band saws etc.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift, move and push from 25-50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, stoop and stand on feet for long periods of time.

Qualities Preferred:

• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
