SENIOR DATA SPECIALIST

The JRT agency® is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Specialist to join our dynamic marketing firm. As a Senior Data Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing and maintaining client data projects.

Your primary responsibilities include collaborating with account and web development teams to create innovative data solutions that enhance our clients' marketing strategies. Your work will power client programs and ultimately help to facilitate millions of dollars in transactional work. And you’ll do it all with an exceptional, cross-functional agency team.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage data management tools, databases and programming languages, including SQL, PL/SQL, to query, manipulate and transform data; also manage storage processes, where required
• Ensure all data projects adhere to privacy and compliance requirements
• Develop and implement data solutions that contribute to client marketing project and program success
•  Apply quality assurance and verification to data processes to maintain highest standards and accuracy pre-, during and post-transactions
• Collaborate with cross-functional agency team to understand and identify requirements and measures of success for every assigned project
•  Proactively identify opportunities to automate data processing work
• Recommend additional best practices and technology advances to keep team always innovating its approach to problem solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, preferably within a marketing agency or related industry
•  Proven experience as a Data Specialist or similar role, with a focus on marketing data
•  Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment using excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Extensive experience with SQL, PL/SQL, database design and maintenance, queries and storage procedures
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to data management and analysis (e.g., Python, R)
