Responsibilities

  • Coach and lead our team with positivity, kindness and confidence
  • Handle daily operations for opening/closing shifts
  • Lay out daily schedule for humans and dogs

  • Work with the front of house team to ensure all health and behavior notes are documented and communicated
  • Complete meet & greet dog behavior assessments
  • Orchestrate grooming and enrichment services and other events
  • Assist in training new employees

 

Job Description

As a Team Lead, in our Back of House department, you will have the opportunity to lead energetic and like-minded dog loving teammates, supporting and guiding them to meet daily goals. What will I do?

  • Support and coach our team
  • Transport dogs to and from Cabins/Play Yards/Parents on schedule
  • Layout the daily schedule of grooming, enrichments, breaks etc.
  • Play with and engage with up to 25 dogs daily of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments. (No breed restrictions here!)
  • Ensure dog’s play and resting areas are clean and well maintained
  • Complete and assign out daily and weekly checklist items
  • Read and interpret feeding and medication instructions for proper administration
  • Communicate important health and safety information with the Front of House team
  • Lead new clients through the meet and greet dog interview visit and provide tours
  • Operate check ins/outs/payments/reservations/emails/phone calls/in person client questions and other additional duties as needed
