Salary:

Synopsis:
The HR Generalist is best described as a business resource supporting ESCO employees with a variety of human resource related tasks and issues. Work executed will be within a multi-discipline human resources team. This position requires acquisition and knowledge of multiple HR skills and technologies.


Background and Work Experience:
To be considered, candidates should have:
• Completion of an Associate’s degree program in human resources or related discipline from an accredited college, technical school, or university; or
• A combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success.
• Demonstrated to be highly proficient with computer technologies including but not limited to, Windows Operating Systems, and the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred:
• Experience in human resources.
• Completion of a previous internship experience.
• SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar level of professional certification.


Responsibilities and Duties:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Assist with benefits administration on all benefit plans - including employee enrollments and communicating information to employees.
• Maintain employee records and enter data into spreadsheets and other human resources software packages.
• Communicate with and counsel employees on basic personnel issues as needed.
• Assist with performance reviews of all employees.
• Monitor salary increase recommendations and assist managers as needed.
• Assist the Director of Human Resources with the administration and analysis of employee surveys.
• Assist managers with disciplinary actions resulting in written documentation.
• Assist with and monitor terminations.
• Participate on committees.
• Support interviewing process, onsite visits, career fairs, and other recruiting activities as needed.
• Assist with updates and revisions are needed in the Employee Manual, job descriptions, policies, and other documentation.
• Utilize, support, and enhance ESCO’s standards and best practices.
• Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by ESCO and clients.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management.

Travel Required:
This position does not generally require overnight travel. Some daily travel may be required to other office locations, training, and seminars.
