Nova Property Network is a local property management company with 22 properties across the Oklahoma City metro area. We are looking to fill a Maintenance Technician position in the OKC metro. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized and possess a high degree of Maintenance Technician skills.

Requirements:

  • Preferred two years of previous experience in property management maintenance and/or facility maintenance
  • Knowledge of general maintenance, preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repair
  • Understanding of major mechanical components in a residential property
  • Experienced Make-Ready with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
  • Organized with excellent time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Effective emergency management skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all residents, team members, and management
  • Flexible availability, on-call rotating schedule for nights and weekends
  • Successfully pass a background and drug screening

The following tasks are a brief description of the day to day duties for a Maintenance Technician at Nova Property Network. The duties listed below are not limited to your full job description and in no way constitute all responsibilities for the position:

  • Receive and complete maintenance work orders daily
  • Diagnoses problems and repairs in the areas of general maintenance items, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and appliances
  • All work orders, including emergency work orders must be completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Adhere to the Make-Ready schedule in order to meet property goals
  • Alert maintenance coordinator and Property Manager of any potential liabilities or repairs
  • Communicate, schedule, and follows-up with any required preventative maintenance tasks
  • Exercise control over and adhere to assigned budget for supply orders
  • Provide excellent customer service, with the ability to respectfully manage difficult residents and/or situations
  • Complete required reports to turn in to maintenance coordinator and/or Property Manager
  • Complete resident communication notice
  • On emergency calls after 5PM during business days and on weekends
