Job Description:
Do you have clean and safe motor vehicle operation record, timely delivery, and dependability? If so, then this driver position could be perfect for you. Successful drivers communicate clearly to the customer, deliver product on time and safely, and perform these roles while effectively managing their time. The ideal driver candidate will also handle a variety of warehouse equipment to support loading and unloading the truck in a timely manner.
- We support the appliance home deliveries for 90%+ of the Oahu Home Depots.
- Our delivery routes consist of an average of 12-15 home deliveries per day per truck. 80-100 deliveries per day collectively.
- Our delivery business days are Tuesday - Saturday
- An average of 80% of our deliveries are considered “full installations” – Unbox, deliver, install, remove all packing material and setup appliance for consumer use as well as perform haul away of old appliances.
Job Functions:
- Be prepared and understand that this is a 2-person team delivery route work.
- Tues – Sat with the highly likely potential of OT
- 6:30am start time until route is completed. On average routes wrap around 4:30- 5:00 and trucks are back in warehouse around 5:30 or so. There are days where routes can last as long as 7pm or later dependent on situation. It happens very infrequently but it does occur.
- Must be able to work well with as a team with both the larger group as well as whomever the candidate is partnered with on a route.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and upward on a consistent basis as required by the delivery
- We take every opportunity to utilize the proper delivery equipment to minimize “muscling” product but there are instances where a two-person carry is unavoidable.
- Pickups/Deliveries island wide
- Be able to climb steps an average of 3 flights but can be many more dependent on home delivery.
- Be a self-starter that can follow instructions especially if they are inexperienced.
- Be able to work well as a team.
- Loading and offloading of vehicles
- May include some warehousing work.
- Must be able to communicate w/ customers and co-workers effectively and professionally.
- Completion of various paperwork for deliveries, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

Will train installation piece as long as candidate is somewhat mechanically inclined.
Must be reliable and responsible to get to work on time.
Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
Regularly lift and /or move objects 10-50lbs.
Have a good knowledge of island roads drive and deliver appliances to various locations on the island unload and load merchandise
Must be able to spend long hours standing, bending, walking, and stretching
