Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced Production Team Lead for a client in Potterville, MI. The Supervisor Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the day-to-day operations and managing plant employees working on multiple production lines.
This position will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of production associates to ensure that production deadlines are met efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy mentoring others and have a proactive, problem-solving mentality. Demonstrated leadership abilities is a must!
Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! This position will pay up to $17.45 - $17.70 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include 2nd or 3rd shift* - inquire about shift times.
Responsibilities of the Team Lead:
• Ensure adequate staffing by scheduling, training, and mentoring the team to ensure they are meeting performance metrics.
• Participate, support, and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirements
• Ensure efficient coordination and processing of work orders/tasks to meet deadlines and schedules.
• Provide continuous training to employees to increase productivity and morale.
• Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities prior to start time (table requirements, paperwork, etc.).
• Ensure end of shift activities are completed such as auditing of paperwork and time sheets along with any necessary communication to the next shift Supervisor Team Lead.
• Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available for completion of jobs.
• Report any accidents, performance and/or policy violations to Manager.
Preferred Qualifications of the Team Lead:
• Basic math and computer skills a must.
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving.
• Strong communication skills.
- HS diploma or GED required and warehouse experience**
