Job Title: Accounting Analyst

Reports To: Treasury Manager

Location: Antigo, WI or Wausau, WI (training must be completed in Antigo)

Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours


Job Summary

The Accounting Analyst will specialize in duties associated with account receivables. This position will contribute to the efficient and effective working of the finance department by maintaining customer records including invoicing, tax exemption compliance, and customer aging. This role will utilize strong accounting knowledge, time management skills, team communication, and effective problem solving to ensure success.

Essential Duties:
  • Monitor and maintain credit and collections of customers’ accounts.
  • Follow policies and procedures designed to reduce delinquency of accounts.
  • Work with sales, customer service, management, technicians, project managers, and engineers in the accounts receivable processes.
  • Correspondence with internal and external customers
  • Provide customer service associated with accounts receivable while building customer relationships.
  • Responsible for:
    1. New customer setup
    2. Credit application review.
    3. Tax exemption certification and maintenance of records.
    4. Credit reporting platform updates and maintenance.
  • Daily treasury management as assigned.
    1. Daily customer payment application
  • Make recommendations for changes to improve the AR function, process, and procedures.
  • Customer interaction regarding billing and account status
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
  • Must be self-directed, self-motivated, and have proven experience leading a team.
  • Positive & proactive attitude with ability to address issues, follow up and implement solutions as required.
  • Analytical thinking skills, detail oriented, and has ability to meet deadlines.


Education and Experience:
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles normally acquired by the completion of a technical degree in finance, accounting, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Basic accounting understanding and GAAP knowledge are preferred
  • Proficiency in ERP systems: Infor Syteline and D365 experience is a plus.
  • Demonstratable experience and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Customer service experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift and carry objects up to 15lbs of various weights such as office supplies.
  • Proficiency in using hands, fingers, and arms for tasks such as typing and writing.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to read company documents.
  • Ability to hear and understand verbal communication.
  • Endurance to withstand duties that involve repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, especially for office-based roles.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and reach low or high objects.
  • Safety Compliance: Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear protective gear as required by the job.

Travel Requirements

This position will not require any overnight travel and/or occasional travel during the workday.
