The Y is looking for fun, energetic, enthusiastic counselors. The incumbent must be a team member, communicate effectively with parents, campers and peers, have common sense, patience, and creativity is a must. Experience with children, games, songs, swimming, gymnastics, and arts-n-crafts a plus. Campers will fall into these categories – Youth (kindergarten to grade 6) and Teen (grade 6 – 9) Applicant Age Requirement - 18+ years old High School Graduate / College Students Shifts - Monday through Friday 7 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. 8:45 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. All positions require PA State Police PA Child Abuse History FBI Fingerprint Clearances National Sex Offenders Registry Clearance Teen Counselors will require a clean driving record and driver's license background check to operate YMCA vehicles. A FREE YMCA Membership is included for the employee while they are actively employed. All positions require the ability to obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprint and National Sex Offenders Registry Clearances.
