Deacon Jones Autopark is seeking to hire an Accounting Clerk to start  immediately. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth working knowledge of daily dealership accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, deal posting, cash receipts, and inventory purchases.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist with inner-company accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliation each month
• Assist with posting credit card transactions daily
• Filing
• Data entry
• Stock in new car invoices from Factory
• Stock in used car purchases
• Other projects and duties as asked

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Dealership experience in multiple areas of the accounting office preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products with advanced proficiency in Excel and Outlook
• Dealer track computer system
• Utilizes exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and emphasis on quality
• Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Possess a high level of dependability, maturity, confidentiality, and courtesy
• Displays superior written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
• Displays tactful, mature, and professional demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills
• Uses problem-solving skills and past experience to overcome workplace challenges, develop new processes, and define outcomes.
