Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Precision Cleaning Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team in one of the various laboratories across Element, the Precision Cleaning Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate results under direct supervision. The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures

Salary: $23-$27/hr DOE

Responsibilities
    Perform cleaning set ups and follow product cleaning procedures
  • Pre-clean parts using established processes and techniques using various aqueous detergents and solvents
  • Final clean parts and qc verify using laboratory techniques
  • Maintain process documentation log sheets and record data during tests and inspections
  • Perform part packaging to maintain cleanliness levels and protect customer's parts
  • Provide feedback to PC team about order deviations
  • Contribute to process optimization by critical thinking and problem solving
Skills / Qualifications

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:

  • Working knowledge of laboratory safety
  • HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
  • 0-2 years' experience in a related field
  • Basic understanding of process control concepts
  • Possess basic computer skills
