Material Handler

Material Handler- Paid Weekly

West Des Moines, IA

$18.50/hour

Description:

-Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand

-Lifting 50 - 100 pounds all day every day

-Accepting delivery of inventory

-Counting and confirming inventory

-Inspecting inventory for damage and faults

-Marking and labeling stock.

-Operating pallet jack, tommy lift

Shift: 1st shift 6am-2:30pm or until the work is done

Pay: $18.50/hour

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

- Comfortable lifting 50lbs

- Ability to speak English, whether is it a secondary language

- No education, certs

- Attributes of success: asking questions, being attentive when managers are training,

- Nice to have skills: tape measure, construction, hands on manufacturing experience

- Working in warehouse side of Quality Manufacturing would be a great find. Will be doing similar warehouse labor to what is required there.
