Accounts Receivable Clerk

Robert Half has a great opportunity for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional at a growing company. To succeed in this role, you will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Responsibilities

- Communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization

- Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

- Corroborate documents and codes

- Take care of payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

- Settle bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a variety of ledgers

- Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

- Provide information, as requested to the sales/marketing department, shippers, customers, and other stakeholders

- Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

- Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

- Skilled with ERP systems

- Be detailed, flexible, and organized

- Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

- 1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

- Demonstrated knowledge of Coordinate Travel Arrangements

- Experience with customer service

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

- Collections experience preferred

- Collections experience

- Adeptness in Credit Card Charges

- Billing experience preferred

- Quickbooks Online experience preferred
