Volt is immediately hiring for a Body Shop Painter in Conroe, TX.
As a Body Shop Painter you will:
- Prepare surfaces to be painted by lightly sanding filling and priming as necessary
- Mix paint to match existing colors as well as to create custom colors as needed
- Apply paint to vehicles with a spray gun or by hand, taking care to achieve an even finish
- Monitor drying times and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper adhesion
- Clean and maintain equipment including spray guns air compressors and paint
- Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized
- Maintain an inventory of paints and supplies and request orders as needed
This is a Full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or higher education
- Previous experience as a body shop painter
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience turning a wrench
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. periodically
- Good verbal, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 hourly
