This is a remote position and requires extensive travel to work locations.
A Field Service Technician provides top-notch service and support for a range of industrial automation equipment. From troubleshooting to installation and training, you'll be the go-to person both on-site at customers' facilities and company locations.

This is a remote position and requires extensive travel to work locations.
A Field Service Technician provides top-notch service and support for a range of industrial automation equipment. From troubleshooting to installation and training, you'll be the go-to person both on-site at customers' facilities and company locations.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively meet project deadlines and adhere to budgets.
- Remain prepared for travel as required for installations, start-ups, or field support.
- Undertake troubleshooting across a variety of systems including electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, and robotics.
- Perform testing, training sessions, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Keep precise and up-to-date documentation of all work-related activities.
- Guarantee exceptional service in every customer interaction.
- Provide technical support promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
- Recognize potential future opportunities with customers during on-site visits.
- High school diploma or equivalent required (preference given to technical or vocational school graduates)
- Associates degree specializing in related field preferred.
- Experience in electrical troubleshooting preferred.
- Previous Field Service experience required.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
- Skilled in PLC/HMI machine programming.
- Knowledgeable about safety systems, networks, and fieldbus programming.
- Previous experience in robotics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
- Basic understanding of GMAW or plasma cutting processes.
- Competitive base salary in the $25/hr to $40/hr range.
