Associate Attorney- Estate Planning

Wright & Wright Attorneys at Law, Inc., a well-established estate planning law firm located in Northeast Fresno, has an opening for an associate attorney. Candidates must be good writers who are detail-oriented and have strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in an estate planning practice, but previous experience is not required.

Responsibilities include supporting senior attorneys, legal research, meeting with clients, drafting estate planning documents, time tracking for billable activities, and other client support tasks as needed.

Requirements for this position include an active license to practice law in the State of California, the ability to effectively communicate with clients and other employees, the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on assignments, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and the ability to quickly learn firm-specific legal software programs. All offers of employment will be made conditionally, subject to the candidate passing a background check.

Firm hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 am to 2:00 p.m. Our standard work week is 37.5 hours and the attorneys do not take work home with them.

Base pay of $90,000 plus quarterly performance compensation after the 180 day introductory period.
