Job DescriptionCompany Description
White River Township Fire Department (Hamilton County) has an immediate opening for a Paramedic, Paramedic / Firefighter, or an Advanced EMT / Firefighter. This position will be on shift using the reverse Kelly day rotation. Duties include responding to all incidents on shift, station duties, and other township activities.
Responsibilities:
- Administrator and treat care to the sick or injured patients.
- Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition.
- Communicate with nursing staff, doctors, and other medical personnel regarding patient care and treatment.
- Complete and report all medical reports.
- Direct and communicate with other personnel on the scene for care to the patient.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Paramedic License or certification for Advanced EMT.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to build rapport with patient and patient's family.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Familiar with medical software and equipment.
Candidates must have a Paramedic License or Advanced EMT to be considered. Salary is based on experience and certifications/licenses.
