Position Overview: Fresh Products is currently offering full-time positions for Printing Team Leaders at our Perrysburg, OH facility. We're committed to providing a competitive hourly rate and a safe, clean work environment that fosters growth and teamwork.

Schedule Options: Work 4 Days, Enjoy 3 Days Off (10-hour shifts)

• 2nd Shift: 5:00PM to 3:30AM, Monday to Thursday

What Fresh Products Offers:

• Competitive base pay of $18.60 per hour with an additional $1.50 Shift Premium.
• Once training is completed you will receive an additional $2.00 per hour increase, for a base pay of $20.60.
• Enjoy a 4-day work week, with 3 days off.
• Occasional mandatory OT on Fridays that is communicated ahead of time.

Specific Duties:

• Setup and Supply
  1. Interpret schedule and set up all required materials at each printing workstation.
  2. Transfer pallets of completed jobs to production lines.
  3. Order ALL supplies needed to keep the printing department running efficiently (inks, ribbon, labels, etc.).
  4. Order ALL ribbons for hot stamping to keep that process running efficiently.
  5. Communicate with the Graphic Designer any issues that arise with Customer artwork.
  6. Order screens for silk screening when needed.
  7. Help remove empty pallets from the racks and replenish stock to that area.
• Associate Activity
  1. Communicate issues that may arise to supervisor.
  2. Inspect and initial each associate’s hourly sheets at least every 2 hours. Elevate to supervisor if associate productivity is low.
  3. Ensure associates are running the correct jobs, not just jobs that are easy.
  4. Ensure associates fill out scrap sheets and initial each day.
• Housekeeping: Ensure cleanup throughout the day and again at shift end.
  1. Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
  2. Associates are not to leave until their area has been cleared by you.
• Shop Trak and Doc Trak
  1. Understand Job Screen and Materials Tab nomenclature, Job Status, Job Complete function, Job End, Punching out for the day.
• Support and Enforce All Shop Rules
  1. No eating on the floor.
  2. No drinking on the floor EXCEPT within a container with a CAP/LID.
  3. No talking across lines -- No cell phones on shop floor.
• Train new associates and assist trainers.

• Other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer skills
• Become certified to operate a forklift.
• Punctuality in reporting for work to ensure smooth production startup.
• Physical stamina and coordination, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
