Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled individual for the position of Dry Surface Grind Operator. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the set-up and operation of surface grinding machines and will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Machine Set-Up and Operation:
- Proficiently set up and operate dry surface grinding machines to achieve precise specifications.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment in a climate-controlled environment.
Blueprint Reading and Interpretation:
- Read and interpret engineering blueprints with a keen understanding of dimensioning and tolerance.
- Work with a high level of accuracy to meet design specifications.
Knowledge and Application of American Decimal System:
- Demonstrate proficiency in the American Decimal System to perform precise measurements and calculations.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T):
- Understand and apply GD&T symbols to ensure the adherence to design requirements.
Precision Inspection:
- Utilize tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers for meticulous inspection of machined components.
- Identify and address any deviations from quality standards, making necessary adjustments as required.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in the set-up and operation of dry surface grinding machines.
- Proficient in blueprint reading, dimensioning, and tolerance.
Measurement Tools:
- Ability to use micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers with precision.
Understanding of American Decimal System:
- Familiarity with the American Decimal System for accurate calculations.
GD&T Knowledge:
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance symbols.

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
