Green Energy Biofuel LLC (GEB) is a recycling company that specializes in supplying biofuel feedstock to the largest biofuel producers in the world. Biofuels are derived from renewable organic materials, such as vegetable oils, animal fats, and recycled cooking oil, making them a more sustainable and environmentally friendly option compared to conventional fossil fuels. Our Warrenville, SC facility is looking to hire an experienced Fleet Supervisor who holds a valid, Class A CDL with tanker endorsement. This is a full-time, day shift position. You will be home on nights and weekends!

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of drivers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies
  • Monitor driver performance, including adherence to safety regulations, ELD compliance, delivery timelines, and customer service standards
  • Conduct regular driver training sessions to improve skills and knowledge on safe driving practices, customer service, and company procedures
  • Investigate and resolve any driver complaints, accidents, or compliance issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and propose improvements to existing processes
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting open communication and continuous learning
  • Oversee daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling and dispatching vehicles to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Implement and enforce maintenance schedules for all vehicles to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of the fleet.
  • Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
  • Train new drivers on ELD usage and monitor compliance
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure cost effective, timely, quality service to the fleet vehicles
  • Ensure that all load paperwork associated with each run is accurate and submitted to the proper people
  • Drive commercial vehicle, as needed, following all vehicle regulations and law
  • Ensure FMCSA compliance, state and federal driver compliance
  • Maintain registration and documents for fleet according to requirements including IFTA
  • Assist with purchase and sale of fleet equipment
  • Assist with IFTA reporting, training and other requirements as needed
  • Support the Companys sustainability values and strategies
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirement:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least three years of proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the transportation industry
  • Experience with pump trucks and vacuum trucks and trailers preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT transportation regulations, including hours of service, road safety, and driver qualifications as well as ELD
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team of drivers
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in using transportation management software and technologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining professionalism and composure
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, Class A with tanker endorsement
  • Familiarity with local roads and traffic regulations
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee has to be able to frequently enter and exit a truck and lift and carry in excess of 50 pounds. This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday.
