St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for personable and service-orientated Receptionists whose primary responsibilities are to greet all guests checking in and out of the Spa, make and confirm reservations, and receive payments for all Spa and Salon treatments.



Essential Job Functions:

  • Greet every guest and associate with eye contact and a sincere, friendly smile.
  • Review appointments for the day; notify all therapists without appointments of their on-call status.
  • Accurately book Spa treatments, including confirming all information with guests and reminding them of cancellation policy prior to closing the interaction.
  • Answer phones promptly and professionally with a friendly tone. Continuously monitor for guest voicemails and follow-up as necessary.
  • Handle all cash and credit transactions to ensure proper payment is received for each guest and treatment.
  • Possess thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all Spa treatments in order to accurately answer all guest inquiries.
  • Remain knowledgeable on important, relevant information from other Hotel departments.
  • Make a record of any lost or misplaced guest items and assist with connecting guests to the Hotel’s Lost & Found department for follow-up.
  • Present oneself in a professional manner by adhering to the Hotel’s grooming and appearance policies, as well as by maintaining a pleasant and respectful demeanor when engaging both guests and other associates.
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Previous guest service experience highly preferred, but not required.
  • Ideal candidate must be someone friendly and service-oriented, communicates effectively with all levels of associates and guests, and who works well as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and be able to lift/push/pull up to 10 lbs. on an occasional basis.
  • Must have flexible availability and be available to work weekends and holidays.
